    NCN672 visit 31st Oct 2009

1st Nov 2009. My blog, which should have been entered yesterday. I decided to go on the bike yesterday because of the weather
forecast for today. This turned out to be correct. Very wet and breezy, but still quite mild. A leaden sky, which seems
as if it will be an all day situation. One never knows though here in the UK. It can change in minutes. My trip  to 672 was uneventful.
I made a few handouts of the Celebration details, and hand delivered one to The Windmill Pub. A  lot of leaves on the trail, which meant
taking care on the slopes. Fairy busy for a Saturday morning, including a couple of cyclists. Two family groups and only one dog walker,
which makes a change.  I have a little excursion to make on my bike to see if the Parks Department have actioned on their  promise of
improving the situation at the end of Magnus Court, as it enters the Darley Playing Fields. This is on our walk on the 5th November. Not disastrous if
nothing has been done, but as walk leader, I considered it to be a hazard for some of the less agile walkers, including myself!
